Hi, I'm Julia; I know and love taking care of animals.
I've been around animals since I was born 40+ years ago and grew up in a menagerie of dogs, cats, barnyard fowl, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, a parakeet, and a horse. I deeply understand how well loved and special these four-legged, winged, or slithery members of our family are and I am deeply honored to be entrusted with their care.
As an adult, I've worked as a professional horse person doing everything from chasing cows a'horseback to wrangling to managing the barn of an Olympic competitor, and plenty of pet sitting.
I have experience caring for most household and barnyard animals, plus decades of work experience at high-end jobs where I learned the finer details of what it takes to provide excellent client care. The Basics

My overnight fee starts at $115 per 24-hour period.

For periods of time past the 24-hour mark and up to the half day mark, I charge a fee of $85.

I charge an additional $15 per day per pet. So two pets are $130/day, and so on. For farms with lots of animals, let's chat.

I am happy to do daily drop-ins (vs. overnights) in Livingston, MT and charge $30-40 per visit.

I offer a complimentary initial meet and greet if you live within the city limits of Livingston or Bozeman.

Additional pre-care visits are billed.

For those living out of town, I charge the IRS mileage fee + drive time. If you hire me, I will deduct the drive time fee from your first invoice.

Cancellation policy:
- 50% deposit is due to secure dates on my calendar. Deposit is non-refundable if cancellation occurs within 45 days of beginning date of stay.

Balance of payment is due 2 weeks before the beginning date of my stay without exception and is non-refundable.
Farms
I am able to farm sit for hobby farms and homesteads. If you own a commercial operation, I am unable to farm sit for you because of my insurance, unless you are able to hire me as a temporary employee.
New Client Process
For new clients to confirm a booking with me, here are the steps you'll need to complete to reserve the dates on my calendar:

Make contact with me via text, phone call, or email, or the form below and let's discuss your needs - please include the dates of care needed and pet(s)/dog breed.

Schedule an initial meet and greet so I can meet you, your pet(s), and see the property.

Completely fill out my new client intake form before our meet and greet.

If you and I both determine it's a good fit, you pay a 50% deposit to lock in your dates.
